The weekend of April 20 to 22, Stevie held his moving sale. Friday it nearly all was moving, er, swimming, because it rained nearly all day long.

Saturday, the sun was out and lots of people showed up from the signs posted on Woodruff and Alondra but the advertisement Steve had taken out in the Long Beach Press Telegram listed it in Bell not Bellflower so most of the great things he had to sell didn’t have their proper audience.

Sunday, the sun was out at first but then the sky clouded up and peed for a brief time as we hustled to move stuff inside the garage. People were undeterred and shopped on. They the sun came out again and by five o’clock he managed to move a piano, a car and a lot of other stuff in spite of everything.
